Overcoming The Obstacles

Please watch the video on overcoming an obstacle. This precious little girl that is climbing this wall with such confidence, determination, strength and excitement  gets almost to the finish line and then something happens – she loses focus, then fear sets in, she begins to panic and looses confidence in herself and cries out…. no I want to come down, I can’t do this.  But the voice behind her that she cannot see only hear is her Father, her Coach telling her in a gentle voice, I got you, you can do this, and getting her to refocus and building her confidence back up to overcome those fears she is experiencing, so she can reach that silver bell.

As you watched the video you see that Valentina maybe experience some sort of fear which is telling her to escape or turn back to a safe place, how many times have we done that? If she gave in to that fear she would not experience the great things ahead of her. If you let those fears and emotions take over you will stop when you are so close to reaching your dreams. With her being so high up as she begins to loose confidence she keeps hearing a voice behind her I’ve got you, you can do this. She lost focus for a moment but the good news is that he regained her focused took a deep breath and continue to the top and hit the bell !! Way to go Valentina. If she didn’t have a coach behind her encouraging her and letting her know he had her, she would have not finished.

Just remember we will all face obstacles and barriers as we pursue are dreams in life, but they don’t have to stop you. Rather find a way to be resourceful and keep going,  find away around them, find a way through them. Some may be more challenging than other. The truth is you can be an overcomer to any obstacle or barrier in your life and make a difference. Look at your obstacles and barriers as a challenge that will sharpen you and hone you into the person you were meant to be or want to be.   I believe knowing your direction, staying focus, being committed and staying confident are some of the key principals to achieving your goals along with the  attitude I can do this.
